Highly flexible image rectification for a wide range of camera systems

Our advanced algorithms provide exceptional flexibility for precise image rectification, making them suitable for a wide range of cameras and lenses. These algorithms can be applied to our K|Lens light field sensor to make the most of its unique multi-view data, as well as to conventional standard cameras to improve their image quality.

Precise metric calibration for accurate 3D reconstruction

Metric calibration is a critical requirement for converting depth maps into real, physical measurements. Our calibration procedures make it possible to reconstruct 3D data with the highest accuracy and thus ensure reliable measurements in metric units.

Sub-pixel accuracy for maximum precision

To achieve outstanding precision, all our algorithms work with subpixel accuracy. This means that we are able to perform image features and measurements with an accuracy that goes beyond the resolution of individual pixels.

High-precision calibration for demanding applications

Our calibration methods are characterized by their exceptional accuracy, achieving accuracies for our Light Field Sensor HighRes of up to 5µm in the lateral direction and 20µm in the z-direction. (The standard deviation is given, i.e. the measurement deviates from the true value by less than +/- 5µm in approx. 70% of cases). This high precision enables our technology to be used in demanding applications that require maximum measurement accuracy.

Adaptable calibration for complex camera systems

Our algorithms are not limited to individual camera systems, but can also be used to calibrate complex camera arrays. This enables precise synchronization and calibration of multiple cameras to capture comprehensive 3D data.

Our calibration methods run automatically in less than a minute. This means that no specially trained personnel are required to carry out a complete calibration of our camera systems.

An intuitive application interface (UI) allows users to perform fully automated hardware calibration. The interface provides visual feedback on calibration quality, allowing users to check results immediately and make adjustments if necessary.
