The technology behind PCB-IntelliScan

PCB-IntelliScan uses our innovative light field sensor for high-resolution imaging to capture images from multiple perspectives of PCBs. These images are used to create 3D models of the components. A specially trained artificial intelligence (AI) analyzes the captured data and identifies components, their properties and possible defects. PCB-IntelliScan automatically determines the housing (package) of components based on type, pin arrangement and dimensions. This is particularly useful for identifying SMD components as well as transistors and ICs.

Identification of components on printed circuit boards

The system can identify components down to the Manufacturer Part Number (MPN). This enables complete traceability and a precise analysis of the composition of a PCB.

Automatic generation of parts lists

PCB-IntelliScan automatically generates bills of materials (BOM) based on the recognized components. This saves time and reduces the risk of errors when creating BOMs manually
